New Collection: Over-dyed Rugs with a Twist

Reclaimed Vintage Collection: Over-dyed in intrepid colors and hand-carved for a 3-D effect

April 22, 2015 -- LOS ANGELES -- Floorplan, a start-up rug company intent on getting better quality area rugs into the homes of Americans, just launched its Reclaimed Vintage Collection of over-dyed hand-knotted Turkish rugs.

"What's fresh about our Reclaimed rugs is their three-dimensional effect," said Erin Eisinger, CEO of Floorplan. "Up until now, the underlying motifs of over-dyed vintage rugs were muted or lost in a flat, monochromatic color wash. By deep-dying in intrepid colors, then hand-carving the pile along the original design lines, we've created depth, texture, and a richer juxtaposition of traditional and modern."

The Reclaimed Vintage Collection is available in Emerald Green medallion, Slate Grey all-overSage Grey medallionSapphire Blue all-over, Sapphire Blue medallion, and Turquoise Blue medallion.
