"We love posting about Small Businesses that inspire us. Floorplan. is a dream come true for those who want to avoid the rug racket and get a high-quality handmade area rug for below industry prices. We met founders Erin Eisinger and her partner Mehmet Bozatli at LA Design Summit, hosted by Laurel & Wolf, and just had to feature them. ‪#‎Floorplan‬ cuts out the middleman, getting their rugs directly from manufacturers in Turkey, India, Pakistan, China, etc. They have used their combined expertise in design, user experience, architecture, and the rug industry to build a company dedicated to improving the experience of finding and buying great rugs. Floorplan CEO Erin Eisinger rolls a reclaimed rug at their retail space at Urban Americana in Long Beach, CA.

Floorplan. Co-founder, COO, architect, and Rugman Mehmet Bozatli. A Seattle native, Bozatli's family has a long history in the rug business in eastern Turkey.

"While I was living in Istanbul, I got requests ALL THE TIME from people who knew me or knew people who knew me, emailing me to ask where/how to get a rug. I kept asking myself: is it really this hard to buy a rug? And it turned out, of course, that yes it is."
